Expressions Dancewear & Costumes is provided for your personal use. By using this site you are bound by the following Terms & Conditions.
- You must be over the age of 18 to order items from this site
- Delivery and Returns are as per the appropriate policies on this site
- Expressions sizes are approximate and as best as we are able to give. We are not responsible for incorrect sizes being ordered
- We will endeavour to ensure that the site is available to use at all times, however there may be occasions when we will have to carry out maintenance on the site and introduce new items or services but we will endeavour to have this working again quickly
- All goods must be paid in full prior to being shipped
- All prices are those which are in effect on the day of Shipment and are subject to change without notice
- Any Special "Made to Order" items will not be returnable or refundable
- Non Delivery of Goods invoiced or any other discrepancies must be notified in writing within 10 days. Expressions Dancewear & Costumes will not take responsibility for any discrepancies after this date
- Goods already in Transit cannot be cancelled
- Expressions Dancewear & Costumes shall be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from delivery conditions, wilful damage, misuse, alteration or repair
Acceptance of Goods also constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
Conditions of hire (fancy dress)
- The Conditions of Hire are between the Client (Hirer) and Expressions Dancewear & Costumes. Any variation to these conditions must be in writing or they will be invalid
- The Goods refer to the Outfits, Costumes & Accessories supplied by Expressions
- Expressions will hire goods only upon acceptance of these conditions. The Hirer accepts that these conditions form a binding contract between the Hirer and Expressions Dancewear & Costumes. No oral variation shall be valid unless agreed in writing by an authorised person at Expressions Dancewear & Costumes.
- Should the items be mailed, the Hirer agrees to hire the item for a 120 hour period which includes both delivery and return mailing time. Any outfits not returned after this 120 hour period will incur an additional rental fee
- Should the Hirer be collecting the goods from Expressions the Hire term will be for a 72 hour period. Any goods nor returned after this 72 hour period will incur an additional rental fee.
- Any and all prices contained in a quotation price list catalogue and similar material are based upon current costs ruling at the date thereof and are for guidance only. The contract price shall be the price current at the date of shipment of the goods.
- If prices have been given in a form of quotation, based on information given by the Hirer, the Hirer will be responsible for the accuracy of the information given and relevant particulars such as measurements and sizes. Any increased cost incurred as a result of omission, inaccuracy or lack of information supplied, will be for the Hirer.
- The risk of loss or damage of any kind in the goods shall pass to the Hirer
- Should the Hirer wish for the goods to be delivered other than collect the items from Expressions Dancewear & Costumes, the Hirer shall pay for the carriage and any insurance of the goods. This payment shall be prior to the goods being sent
- The Hirer will examine the goods upon receipt. If any defects noticed they must inform Expressions Dancewear & Costumes immediately. In the absence of any notification it will be deemed that the goods were received in good order.
- Expressions Dancewear & Costumes will endeavour to provide the goods on the available date. However, Expressions Dancewear & Costumes will not be held liable for any loss suffered by the Hirer should the goods not reach in time which is the cause of the External Delivery Company, or an outfit being returned by a previous client in such a condition that does not warrant its re-hire without repair or damage work having to be carried out
- Where the Hirer is to collect the goods, if not done so during Expressions working hours on the day for which it has been booked, Expressions Dancewear & Costumes reserve the right to hire the goods to other clients and will not be liable for any loss suffered to the Hirer
- Should the Hirer collect the goods the day after the agreed date the Hire period will commence from the agreed booking date.
- Payment shall be made in full on day of collection of the Goods, them or prior to the goods being mailed if they are to be delivered. The Hirer will pay a deposit for the outfit. The deposit will be refunded upon returning the goods. Should any damage be caused and noted upon returning the goods, Expressions reserves the right to deduct any amount payable to repair the goods or withhold the deposit until such a price can be obtained for the repair and then deduct from the deposit. Should the goods be returned and not able to be repaired but must be replaced, the Hirer will forfeit the full deposit. For those goods mailed, the deposit will be refunded after the goods have been returned and inspected. Should any damages be noted Expressions will make contact with the Hirer immediately
- In case of non return of the goods after 4 days (if HirercCollects) or 6 days (if mailed) Expressions Dancewear & Costumes reserves the right to retain the entire deposit.
- It is the Hirers obligation to keep the goods clean and in good order
Delivery of Items
Items can be mailed or collected from our studio.
- For those items which are to be collected please bring your receipt issued when placing the order. Please check opening times at Expressions prior to visiting the studio
- For items which are mailed Expressions use Emirates Postal Service UAE & Standard Airmail Service
- For urgent packages we are able to use an Express Service which will incur an additional charge
- For special Delivery a Courier service can be used, prices will be given once all details received. Please be advised that Courier Companies will not deliver to a residence within the UAE – only to a business address
- Expressions Dancewear & Costumes will not be held liable for any delays which may have been caused by the Postal Company or if people were absent when delivery was made
- Should the postal rates change we will advise you accordingly
Return/Refund Policy
Should you need to return part or all of your order, our Policy in regards to this is as follows

Faulty goods
If you find that the goods received are faulty you are to advise Expressions Dancewear & Costumes on info@expressions-dancewear.com
Returned goods
All costumes are delivered in a re-sealable package. Goods must be returned within 7 days of receipt in the same re-sellable condition, the returns number must be quoted on the documents when returning the goods. Please read our Refund paragraph in regards to refunding goods
The buyer is responsible for the cost of any goods being returned. We recommend that the buyer obtains proof of postage as in the event of a lost item the purchaser will need to claim from the carrier used and not from Expressions Dancewear
Refunds
Expressions Dancewear & Costumes will refund the goods if they are returned in a re-sellable and unused condition. All goods must be odour free. Any goods returned without full packaging or damaged packaging will not be refunded. Goods which have deodorant or make up marks, or look as if they have been worn will also not be refunded.
All refunds will be subject to a 25% handling fee.
For Hygiene reasons Wigs & Tights are non returnable and refundable.
All items/garments which have been made to order are not returnable or refundable.
